Meanwhile, the Hound hears that the supposedly kind, caring, friendly-to-everyone Labour leader Jacinda Ardern is showing none of these qualities towards her fellow female leader Katie Milne, Fed Farmers national president.

The word is that despite many attempts by Milne to get a sit-down with Ardern to discuss issues of concern to the farming sector, the mainstream media darling is proving illusive if not impossible to nail down. Your old mate reckons this proves that Ardern’s claim that she and her colleagues are willing to sit around a table with farmers to discuss the proposed water tax seriously lacks real teeth.
