Switched to red

GOOD GROWTH in Case IH machinery sales through the Cambridge branch of Giltrap Farm Machinery, Otorohanga, has prompted the company to settle on the red tractor and machinery brand for all its outlets. Giltrap formerly sold New Holland.

Managing director Andrew Giltrap says the Cambridge outlet, set up in August 2009, "has gone from strength to strength and we realised the synergies available if we had both branches with the same franchise."

The two dealerships cover from central Waikato to National Park, Rotorua and King Country.

"Since gaining the Case IH franchise we have improved market share, based on brand quality, product support and doing what we say we will do."

The company recently opened new premises at Otorohanga; 200 people attended.

Machinery stocks include Giltrap Engineering, Kuhn, Lely, Hustler and Silvan.
