Biased?

Written by  The Hound

Your old mate was disappointed, but not surprised to see a ‘study’ out of Otago University – quoted all over the mainstream media – selling the virtues of plant-based diet.

This ‘research’ – which was uncritically reported in media all around the country – went on to slam the supposed greenhouse output from NZ meat and dairy products compared with plant-based foods.

However, what the uncritical media forgot to point out was this research was based on data out of the UK not NZ – so hardly comparing apples with apples!

Meanwhile, the same supposed unbiased and truth-telling reporters also neglected to mention that the main “researcher” behind this study is a vegan and founder of group advocating plant-based diets! Yeah, no bias there!
