Efficient farming tools on display at ag show

Written by

DELAVAL WILL this week join the 1400 exhibitors at the three-day World Ag Expo in California, reckoned the world’s largest annual farming show.

The company will show new and existing ways to manage dairying efficiency, profitability and sustainability, says Christian Poggensee, DeLaval regional president, North America.

“Our industry [is challenged to] produce more food with less impact on the environment. Sophisticated farm management will play a major role, including more on-farm automation, cow comfort and sustainability, and intelligent systems to aid decision-making.”

Products will include the teat spray robot TSR (automatic pre- and post-spray solution for rotary parlors); new software for dairies milking 50-150,000 cows (collects, analyses and presents data/information in an easy-to-use way); and new teat-dip dispensing systems for iodine and non-iodine chemical concentrates (ensures proper dilution and dispenses fresh dip on demand).
