Designed to fit wide-bodied utes with familiar names like Ranger, Hilux, BT-50, Triton, Navara, Dmax and Amarok, Silvan's new diesel transfer unit should prove useful for delivering fuel to outlying areas of a property or tractors or harvesters working away from home.

Offering a 200-litre capacity, the poly-tuff tank incorporates four pockets to allow easy installation or removal from the vehicle, while an integral baffle is designed to stop "surge" during sudden movements or when the tank is partially empty.

A lockable lid, with a prop to keep it open during use, helps security when the vehicle is unattended, while power is delivered by a three-metre wiring harness fitted with crocodile clips for easy connection to the vehicle's standalone 12-volt battery.

A 12-volt Selecta Power DC diesel pump, equipped with an internal suction filter is said to deliver a flow rate of up to 40 litres per minute, with a delivery hose that features an auto shut-off gun, that can be conveniently stored under the top cover.
