Feds Mystery

OPINION: Another hot topic at Mystery Creek was the intrigue over the upcoming election for the presidency of Federated Farmers.

Feds spin doctors were not happy that Dairy News broke the story about Wayne Langford wanting a fourth year and that he was challenging the present vice president Colin Hurst, who some had expected to take the role.

Dairy News was accused of writing negative stories about Feds.

Interestingly, no other farming publications are running the story, especially one which has a tie-up with Feds and regularly publishes four pages of fluffy pieces about the organisation.
