Revolving doors

Written by  Milking It

Aussie farmers could be forgiven for recalling the name of their current Minister for Agriculture.

The Federal Ag Ministry has become a revolving door in recent years; since 2017 the Coalition Government across the ditch has had four ministers, and that’s not including short stints by the PM and deputy PM in between change of ministers.

David Littleproud was named Ag Minister this month to replace Bridget McKenzie who resigned after a sports grant scandal. This is Littleproud’s second stint: he first stepped into the role in 2018 after Barnaby Joyce resigned following an affair with a staffer.
