RWNZ chief executive to step down
Rural Women New Zealand (RWNZ) chief executive Gabrielle O’Brien will step down at the end of June.
The annual Central District Field Days has been cancelled due to Covid.
Organisers say they are gutted to announce that due to COVID-19 event restrictions and the uncertainty of how long the Omicron variant will be active in the community, CD Field Days, scheduled for next month, will not go ahead.
“Although we considered postponement as a potential option, we cannot confidently confirm a date in the current climate.
“Like us, we’re sure this isn’t the news you wanted to hear, as we know how highly anticipated and important this event is to the rural sector, and its community.”
Exhibitors are being emailed more information on the refund process.
