Krone XDisc 710 Now Fits John Deere, New Holland Foragers
Krone's XDisc 710 direct-cut header can now be used by John Deere and New Holland forage harvesters, as well as the Krone Big X it was originally designed for.
John Deere production systems manager Stephanie Gersekowski said the update will give customers never-before-seen customisation to create the ideal mid-size utility tractor.
“The new 2025-year 6M builds on its reputation as the ready-foranything workhorse of the farm by adding more optionality, so our customers can build the tractor that perfectly matches the unique needs of their operation.
“We have now taken some of the key features of our larger machines and introduced them to the midsize tractor market, answering the call of those wanting extra speed for transportation with the new option of 50km/h transmissions,” says Gersekowski.
An update in the styling department sees a refresh that includes a new flag design and louvre shape, while the name and numbering format have been aligned with the 6R, 7R, 8R and 9R tractors, which display the series separately from the rated engine horsepower.
The new 6M will be available in five frame sizes and thirteen models ranging from 95hp to 250hp, with four models of 200hp and above. In addition, Intelligent Power Management (IPM) comes standard on all machines, except for the 6M 110 and 6M 140 Tier 2 models. IPM offers a 20hp boost for many operations that use rear power take-off (PTO) in high-power applications or transport.
Based on customer feedback, the new 6M now offers 50km/h capability in the AutoQuad, CommandQuad and AutoPowr IVT Transmissions. In addition, Auto- Powr IVT has also been extended to all 6M tractors, apart from the 6MH and the Tier 2 models, allowing operators seamless speed changes from creeper speeds to as high as 50km/h during transport.
Other features of the new 6M include a sloped hood design on the 6M 95, 6M 105 and 6M 125 for excellent visibility and manoeuvrability, making them ideal for front end loader operations. The tractors are available with single or dual rear wheels and with larger tyre options, for better traction.
Optional reversible fan technology helps to quickly clean radiator screens from the comfort of the cab, while the Cornerpost display features instrumentation, integrated connectivity and scalable precision technology.
