Classless

Written by

Your old mate knows politics is a brutal game. However, pollies do occasionally put the nastiness aside, as when retiring members give their valedictory speeches.

However, Green MP Steffan Browning proved what a nasty little nobody he is when he posted a photo of a glass of red water and the following message on Facebook on the day former PM John Key gave his final speech in parliament. ‘Thought John Key might like a little more blood for his valedictory speech, on the day we get confirmation the raid he approved was responsible for innocent civilian deaths. Disgusting legacy.’ Hmmm, and the Green Party claims it is not nasty. As a mate of the Hound’s opined: Browning is like midnight at school – no class. It’ll be interesting to see when Browning gives his valedictory (as he is retiring at the election) whether he gets similar, poor taste treatment.
