According to your old mate’s sources, both Massey University ecologist and long-time dairy critic Mike ‘sad face’ Joy and Greenpeace’s ‘sustainable farming spokesperson’ Genevieve Toop were asked to present their views on the world to the assembled company of beef and sheep farmers. Apparently Joy at least provided some data with his presentation and tailored it for a sheep and beef audience. However, Toop just wailed on for most of her presentation about the evils of dairying. She then attacked irrigation as being inextricably linked to more dairying. In the end, it took a polite farmer to remind Toop she was talking to sheep and beef people.
