The Hound keeps despairing at the poor knowledge and appreciation of farming in NZ.

Prime examples are the anti-farming policies of many political parties contesting this year’s general election – spurred on by ill-informed activist groups like Greenpeace. He reckons this country could even be getting to the same stage as the US where the rural/urban divide is so large. In fact, a recent survey in the US found that 7% of all Americans actually believe chocolate milk is produced by brown cows. Only in America.
