The Hound believes Vodafone – a multi-national telecommunications and internet provider – is treating its rural customer base appallingly.
With many people forced to work from home and schools and universities closed for at least a month, most internet providers have dropped their caps on broadband.
Vodafone proudly announced it was lifting any caps on broadband to ‘help fight the crisis’ until at least the end of June. However, it is not doing so for rural broadband customers.
After copping criticism for abandoning its rural customers, Vodafone then said it would lift the rural broadband caps – but only from 12 midnight till 9am. So much for helping out the heartland!
