The Hound reckons the Jafas from Auckland simply don’t help themselves with their rural cousins. Apparently, the latest fad emerging in the swankier Auckland suburbs is having a pet lamb and prancing it around in nappies.

Yes, only in Herne Bay can you see nappy-clad lambs prancing around on leashes. However, your old mate reckons it’s not just the sight of lambs being walked around Herne Bay on leashes that is now a ‘thing’ – it’s what they are wearing. To prevent them from “making messes throughout the house”, mummy and daddy are putting little Johnny and Jane’s trendy new pets in baby nappies. The Hound suggests both Herne Bay Johnny and Jane’s parents really do act and sound like a pair of merchant bankers!

OPINION: While the destruction of NZ's oil and gas industry by Jacinda Ardern's band of merry vandals was virtue signalling on a heroic scale - producing no environmental benefit whatsoever - the politician vowing to make that industry whole again, Shane Jones, is not above a bit of virtue signalling of his own.
