OPINION: The previous government spent too much during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite warnings from officials, according to a briefing released by the Treasury.
While farmers and growers up and down the country are busy working during the COVID-19 lockdown, they are not the only essential service in the primary sector doing their bit for NZ.
Many other people in the food and produce processing sector are also hard at work.
However, there a lot of farmers out there who are highly appreciative of the hard and dedicated work these essential workers in the dairy and meat processing plants around NZ are doing.
One such group is the Coogan & Hocken family of Matarata Downs – a sheep & beef breeding & fattening farm from Tarata, Taranaki – who made a standout video to show their appreciation of all the workers at Silver Fern Farms processing plants around NZ.
