Vintage tractors will be on display at the event.
It will be a trip down memory lane for agriculture machinery enthusiasts.
The Manawatu Vintage Machinery Club is holding The Vintage Ag Expo on February 20 and 21 at Lockwood Rd, Kaiaranga.
A similar event in 2012 was well supported by enthusiasts and the public.
The event will display vintage tractors, stationery engines, grain threshing, chaff cutting, hay baling and a wide range of working machinery, much of which is restored to as-new condition. Organisers say the event is a great opportunity for the younger generation and others to remember and reminisce on farming in the past.
The weekend will offer a range of events including parades for tractors, implements and other vehicles, hay baling and topdressing demonstrations using vintage equipment, vintage tractor demonstrations and shearing demonstrations using a plant driven by a Lister stationery engine.
Traction engines will also be operating with a sawmill being driven by one and free rides in a trailer towed will be available for younger visitors.
