Fonterra governance review likely to fail

Written by

VOTES cast before Fonterra's special meeting have fallen short of the 75% needed to ratify the changes.

Of the votes cast by 10am on June 8, it garnered only 63% of support among shareholders.

Voting is now underway at the special meeting. About 150 farmer shareholders are now voting.
It is highly unlikely to reach the 75% threshold.
