As the movement away from plastic accelerates, one wonders if plastic milk bottles will be next.

The clink of milk bottles is on something of a comeback as boutique dairy companies opt for glass over plastic. Driven by consumer demand for environmentally friendly milk, several smaller players in the dairy market are choosing to sell their product in reusable glass bottles. New Zealand recycles 23,000 tonnes of plastic milk bottles per year.
