Alliance announces capital raise roadshow
Alliance has announced a series of capital raise roadshow event, starting on 29 September in Tuatapere, Southland.
The cooperative's annual road-show, which begins in Darfield on October 4, will provide farmer-shareholders and suppliers with an opportunity to hear from management and directors about the performance of the company.
They will also get an update on the progress of Alliance Group's strategy, prospects for the new season and hear about a number of new initiatives.
David Surveyor, chief executive of Alliance Group, says: "As New Zealand's leading red meat cooperative, we're committed to listening to farmers' views and our annual road-show is always of interest to shareholders, suppliers and those interested in the cooperative.
"Although it is a busy period for farmers, it's vital our shareholders have the opportunity to hear directly from management and directors about their company.
"That's why we have a mix of morning, afternoon and evening events so we can accommodate as many of our farmer-shareholders as possible. We're also encouraging farmers to bring their partners and new shareholders."
The cooperative is now a year into the roll-out of its strategy, which is designed to improve the co-operative's performance and lift returns to farmer-shareholders, says Surveyor.
"Alliance Group is making significant progress and seeing measurable results and we remain focused on transforming the shape of the business."
The road-show finishes in Blenheim on October 27.
