Applications have opened for Silver Fern Farms Co-operative’s next farmer-elected director.
One space will become available on the board as Tony O’Boyle retires by rotation at the co-operative’s annual meeting in May.
O’Boyle is not seeking re-election.
Directors of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative are responsible for setting the co-op’s corporate governance and strategic direction.
To be eligible for the role, candidates must be a current shareholder and have supplied a minimum of 400 stock units to Silver Fern Farms for the last two years.
Nomination forms must also be signed by two shareholders who meet the same criteria.
Nominations close midday Friday 4 March 2022.
