Dairy prices rise

The Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction overnight delivered its third consecutive positive result.

Average prices were up 1.9% compared to the previous auction.

Whole milk powder prices lifted 2.2% to US$2829/metric tonne.

AMF index up 0.8%, average price US$3,993/MT

Butter index down 1.0%, average price US$3,597/MT

BMP not offered

Ched index up 1.4%, average price US$3,631/MT

LAC index up 0.4%, average price US$1,290/MT

SMP index up 3.1%, average price US$2,609/MT

SWP index not available, average price not available

WMP index up 2.2%, average price US$2,829/MT
