Frozen milk, anyone?

Written by  Milking It

The panic buying witnessed in supermarkets all over the world has seen essentials such as milk, bread and eggs flying off the shelves.

With nations across the globe struggling and the number of coronavirus deaths approaching 20,000, people will be keen to know whether they can freeze some of their fresh produce like mlk.

UK’s The Sun says you can. It says milk can be frozen ahead of its expiry date for later consumption - there are a few guidelines to follow.

Before freezing, make sure the container is tightly sealed. When milk is frozen, it expands so you need to make sure there is enough room in the container so it does not burst. Before using your milk, make sure you fully defrost it in the refrigerator.
