A trial shipment of frozen lamb to Iran, sent earlier this year, has led to another order on the Wellington exporter, Taylor Preston.

The chairman of an Iranian company that recently imported a trial shipment of New Zealand lamb says he would like to do more business, assuming the trial shipment goes well.

The first New Zealand lamb to be sent to Iran in 25 years will be cut and packed into containers at the Wellington meat processing company of Taylor Preston later this week.
