True colours

THE HOUND reckons a certain NZX-owned weekly farming rag revealed its true

colours recently in an extremely boring editorial lamenting that delaying the implementation of ETS will cause “more damage to NZ’s stuttering carbon trading market”. Never mind the implications of ETS for farmers, the editorial shone the light on the NZX’s main concern – financial markets and the large fees they generate for the market-maker.
