No access

Written by

The Hound reckons that with the duck shooting season getting underway this week, farmers (especially those irrigating) whose duck ponds are publicly accessible should seriously question would-be hunters wanting access.

Farmers might reasonably ask hunters aligned to Fish & Game (Bitch & Complain) why they should expect access when their parent body thinks so poorly of farmers. Just recently, Bitch & Complain’s new chief complainer Martin Taylor publicly accused irrigators and dairy farmers of ruining NZ’s environment and having done so since 2001. So your old mate reckons it is only fair that farmers block access to all Fish & Game shooters and fishers; he would hate to see these poor souls exposed to fisheries and duck ponds on properties whose terrible farmers are bent on destruction.
