MILK PAYOUT to Fonterra suppliers is under more pressure after this morning's Global Dairy Trade auction results.

THE FONTERRA Shareholders' Council says the final payout of $6.16 ($5.84 farmgate milk price and 32c dividend) for a fully shared-up farmer was an accurate reflection of the season.

MAKING THE most of a higher milk price will be discussed at a Northland Focus Farm field day on the farm of Alister and Lyn Candy, at Okaihau on July 2. DairyNZ will be in support.
