36th Southern Pinot Workshop Set for January 2027

Written by  Staff Reporters

The 36th Southern Pinot Workshop will be held from 20–22 January 2027.

“The workshop is an incredible, focused forum where you’re surrounded by your peers,” says organiser Lynnette Hudson.

"It gives you the chance to think about the harvest ahead, the style you want to achieve, the challenges you might face, and the experiments you want to trial to learn how to make better wine."

The workshop also provides valuable networking opportunities for winemakers and viticulturists, from emerging winemakers to experienced industry leaders.

"Everyone is there to relax, enjoy themselves and learn," Lynnette says.

As in recent years, the Burgundy tasting will include a live virtual presentation from a French producer, with David Croix joining participants to discuss the wines and answer questions, she adds.

"It really is a unique opportunity to learn."
