Fonterra shaves 50c off forecast milk price
Fonterra has dropped its forecast milk price mid-point by 50c as a surge in global milk production is putting downward pressure on commodity prices.

Wilson, 54, passed away at his home on January 28; he stepped down as Fonterra chairman in July last year on medical grounds.
According to a funeral notice posted by the family, a celebration of John's life will be held at the Mystery Creek Convention Centre, Gate 2, 125 Mystery Creek Road (off Airport Road), Hamilton, on Saturday, February 2, starting 1pm.
This will be followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service, according to the family.
Wilson is survived by his wife Belinda and four daughters; Sophie, Victoria, Tessa, and Libby.
