EFFLUENT PUMP maker Numedic says its new horizontal effluent pump is a “complete solution” as pumping from above-ground effluent storage tanks becomes more popular.
“Based on our 20 years of experience we have developed a strong and reliable horizontally mounted pump” says managing director Peter Reid. “The Numedic horizontal high performance effluent pumps are easy to access and simple to service.
“By using the latest design principles and modern seal technology these pumps are ideal for handling those difficult-to-pump abrasive materials.”
The pumps – 5.5-18.5 kW – can be used as either close coupled transfer pumps or high pressure pumps capable of running travelling irrigators, stationary guns and pods out to 1.5km.
Correctly sized installed pipelines and farm contours need to be allowed for and Numedic can design a system using CAD design and pump and pipeline computer software.
Chopper blades are easily fitted to the pumps to chop fibrous material as required. The castings are manufactured from heavy duty SG iron which copes well with abrasive materials, promoting longer life.
Energy efficient MEPS electric motors are used for optimum efficiency.
