OPINION: Sticking with the NZ Primary Industries Summit, Fonterra chief executive Miles Hurrell’s quip about the milk price has been doing the rounds on Twitter.
Hurrell told the gathering that: “When I put the milk price up, I can count on one hand the number of emails I get. If I put it down, though, I could spend all day scrolling through the valuable farmer feedback I receive”.
One farmer replied that “all feedback was valuable”.
“So, why doesn’t he just keep outing it up,” quipped another.
