Stop lying

OPINION: Greenpeace is back doing what it does best - spreading misinformation about the dairy sector.

In its latest tirade, it wants the Government to slap on regulations to reduce agricultural emissions.

What the Greenpeace media release deliberately fails to acknowledge is what the industry is already doing in this space: He Waka Eke Noa consultations are underway, farm environment plans are in place on many farms and sustainable milk production is the number one priority of all processors.

Greenpeace's narrow-minded view of the dairy sector is out-of-date.

OPINION: This old mutt is getting somewhat tired of multi-national, tax-dodging, fund-raising group Greenpeace always given front and centre mainstream media space to coment (i.e. bag) NZ agriculture.

Sour taste

OPINION: Hats off to the agriculture industry for some consensus on the He Waka Eke Noa report released last week.
